The COVA model is a way of teaching which can create significant learning environments where teachers and students are successful at continuous improvement and learning.
​C- Choice. The learner has the freedom to choose how they present their evidence of learning.
O- Ownership. The learner is responsible for selecting projects and pieces to include in their portfolio. The learner has control and ownership with the guidance of the instructor.
V- Voice. The learner will use their own voice to revise their ideas. This helps establish a sense of purpose.
A- Authentic. The learner will be able to use their evidences of learning to impact their own environments. This allows the learner to utilize the resources to make a difference in real-world issues.
